India wins the World Cup opener against Bangladesh

India today took revenge for the defeat they had from Bangladesh at the 2007 World cup with an 87 run victory over the hosts at Mirpur.India took on to a great start with Virender Sehwag and Virat Kohli in top form.Virender Sehwag went on to score 175 before getting an inside edge on to the stumps.Mean while Virat Kohli put up an amazing display of cricketing shots for his well played 100.Gautham Gambhir scored 39 while Sachin Tendulkar got run out at 29.Sachin's run out was unfortunate as a misunderstanding happened between Sachin and Sehwag.Though the batsmen did their part.The bowlers weren't that good.Sreesanth had the worst spell who bowled just five overs and gave more than 10 runs in extra's he went for 53 in the five overs.Munaf Patel and Zaheer Khan was the pick of the bowlers.Munaf took 4 wickets for 48 while Zaheer took 2 for 40 in their 10 hours.

Virat Kohli is someone to look forward in the future.Proud to say that he is also from Bangalore where Rahul Dravid was bought up.Virat Kohli to me is the future of Indian Cricket.He is a very classy batsmen even at this young age, A true performer.Anyways Wishing Dhoni and Team India all the best at the next match against England at the Bangalore Chinnaswamy stadium.The match was earlier to be held at Eden Gardens and now was postponed to Bangalore.
