The former captain Sourav Ganguly after delivering a lecture at the Indian Statistical Institute commented on a question thrown at him that Rahul Dravid,Sachin Tendulkar and VVS Laxman shouldn't retire together as it would destroy the balance of Team India right now.
Ganguly said "
I don't see them retiring now. Two of them are in great form, and it won't be long before the third one gets a big score. But the selectors will have to be careful and ensure that all of them don't go at the same time. Their retirement will have to be phased out"
He proved his theory by saying about the current Australian Team stating that Mathew Hayden,Justin Langer,Glenn Mcgrath and Shane Warne all retired together and the Australian team suffered a lot after their retirement and such a thing should not happen to the Indian Team.
